La Font del Gall - Restaurant Pollensa in Pollença

"Get the lamb shoulder!!! It comes in an apricot sauce and it is to die for! The sea bass was fine, could have used some herbs and salt but overall good. Service is kind and attentive. Great bread and aioli."

"We had a great time at La Font del Gall. We had no problem getting a seat outside on a Saturday evening - probably as it's not in the main square. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The staff provided bread, aioli and olives without us asking (for a very small price, so I didn't mind) and they were excellent. Our main meals of lamb shoulder and duck breast were very tasty. The duck was slightly overcooked, which was our only minor complaint. Not enough to spoil our enjoyment though - the duck came with strawberries, which was a surprisingly good match. We shared an apple and meringue tart for dessert. The meringue was light and fluffy and it was a good finish to the meal. The prices are pretty reasonable. Overall I'd give this 4.5 (due to the overcooked duck). A good choice in Pollensa."

"Great food particularly fish ceviche starter and steak tenderloin. Wife had the Seafood paella which was her favourite of the holiday. All washed down with a nice bottle of local wine albeit all accompanied by a rather interesting “unique” service to say the least however redeemed by the quality of the food hence only 4 stars overall."

"Too late for lunch and too early for dinner time, we arrived to Pollenca. One of the few, if not only, well-rated restaurants open at that time was La Font del Gall. One other couple was in the restaurant, finishing their extended lunch. We were very much welcomed by Feliciano for our late lunch, or as he called it an early dinner. We went for dorada and a steak. Both did definitely not disappoint in terms of quantity, quality and side dishes such as fresh grilled vegetables and potatoes. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and clean interior with white table cloths. The bar is an antique wooden piece, which stands out in the white interior. Fantastic place for a very late lunch, very early dinner, or just to have amazing food, at a good price, in a nice location in Mallorca."

This charming spot in the heart of Pollença offers a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed meal, whether indoors or on their lovely terrace. The staff are genuinely nice and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The food is great – standout dish for me is the paella mixta, which is flavorful and perfectly cooked with a generous mix of seafood and meat. Even the simple appetizer bread (with those delicious local condiments) is a highlight and sets the tone for the meal. If you’re in Pollença, this is a must-visit for authentic flavors in a cozy setting. I’ll definitely be back next time!"
